Job Description
The Service and Support Manager – Technology Support Services (TSS), under general direction from the Assistant Director of Information Technology Services, provides leadership and management to the Service and Support department, tasked with the ownership of deployed user facing technology for Yavapai College. This includes the areas of desktop computing support, desktop software integration and deployment, asset deployment, AV system support and maintenance, event support, knowledge base creation, and training documentation development and distribution. This position manages the activities of the Technology Service Desk (Helpdesk), provides for event support including District Governing Board events and College Council meetings, and is responsible for implementing and managing a robust preventative maintenance program for district computer endpoints and AV systems. The service and support manager recruits, trains, and manages a team including Service Desk Analysts, Service and Support Technicians, Event Support Technicians, Helpdesk Agents, and Field Technicians.
Experience Required
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology integration, programming, system administration, or directly related field with three to four years of technical experience leading information and integrated technology support initiatives. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed.
