*If you would like to opt for the Pre-Conference Full Day Combination Workshop, including the Active Learning in a Technology-Rich Classroom (morning) and Invisible Risks of Modern Management (afternoon), the cost is $150 Early Registration (thru 7/31) and $200 Regular Registration (Beginning 8/1).
Active Learning in a Technology-Rich Classroom
Date: Tuesday, October 14, 2025
Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Location: This workshop will be held on the NCSU campus, a shuttle bus will pick up participants from the hotel at 8:30am in preparation to making it to the workshop location.

Invisible Risks of Modern Management
Date: Tuesday, October 14, 2025
Time: 1:30pm - 5:00 pm
Location: Sheraton Raleigh Hotel
Cost: $75 Early Registration (thru 7/31) / $100 Regular Registration (Beginning 8/1)

In this interactive half day workshop, we'll explore the invisible risks today’s managers face—ranging from digital overload and emotional burnout to poorly structured meetings, blurred boundaries, and mishandled tough conversations. Through discussion, real-life scenarios, and role-play exercises, participants will gain insight into their own habits, uncover unconscious behaviors, and learn to model healthier, more effective management practices. Bring photos of your workspace—we're starting with a deep dive into structure.
