Our Mission

The mission of ETC is to provide leadership and a forum for information exchange to the providers of media content, academic technology, and support for quality teaching and learning at institutions of higher education. To learn more about ETC's mission, click here.

The Benefits of Membership

ETC primarily offers membership to any institution of higher education with support units for media, instruction, presentation, or information technologies as well as firms and corporations whose business is in support of the purposes and objectives of ETC. Retiree and student memberships are also available.

The In the ever-evolving landscape of higher education, the demand for high-quality online courses that effectively engage students when delivering complex content is paramount. In this session, you will hear from Amy Moore, Senior Learning Program Officer, SUNY Digital Innovation & Academic Services (DIAS) and Program Director, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Online (SEAS) Office of Academic Affairs: Online Learning.  University at Buffalo’s SEAS-Online team developed a state-of-the-art studio equipped with advanced recording technology to facilitate the creation of engaging video content by capturing multiple recording feeds and enabling faculty to present material in a manner akin to traditional classroom instruction.
