Omaha/Creighton HETMA Roadshow

I’d like to personally invite you all to join us at Creighton University on July 9 for the HETMA Omaha Roadshow, a full-day, in-person event designed for anyone working with technology that supports learning, events, and experiences. While HETMA is often associated with higher ed AV, this roadshow is intentionally broad. If you work in IT, AV, live events, theater, classroom technology, production, or any role where audiovisual systems are part of your day-to-day work, you’ll find this experience relevant and worthwhile. What you can expect: All meals included, free breakfast, lunch, and dinnerAfter-hours social at a local pub directly across the street from where the College World Series is held, guided tours of multiple Creighton buildings, showcasing classrooms, event spaces, and production environments. Open conversations during tours about how the technology is designed, supported, and used in real life. Manufacturers and integrators from both local and global organizations demonstrating products, answering questions, and having real, practical discussions. Whether you support classrooms, manage campus events, work behind the scenes in theater or live production, or handle the IT infrastructure that makes it all run, this day is about seeing solutions in context, sharing lessons learned, and connecting with peers who face similar challenges.The goal is not a traditional trade show. It is a hands-on, people-focused day centered on learning, collaboration, and community.
